The habitat of migratory birds at Eulsuk Island

General Information

The habitat of migratory birds (the natural monument No. 179) located in Nakdong River downstream has strong delta and dune. With low water depth and wide mud flat, and abundant food, 100,000 migratory birds of 50 spices, including swans and ducks flock here from October to March the following year. This location is a paradise for migratory birds.

Winter Bird

Winter migrant birds, such as swans, ducks, gobang ducks, chungdung ducks, red hwakburi ducks, and red bills can be seen from the end of October to early March.

Summer Bird

Summer migrant birds, such as litter tern, swallow, little egret, butorides striate linnaeus can be seen from the early May and the early part of October.
